Test results now in for the new Moshon Data MD-NEST night environment simulation tunnel
During recent testing at the Moshon Day event at FAKT motion proving ground, Memmingen we were able to successfully demonstrate GNSS coverage inside the tunnel is actually better than expected, GNSS receiver maintaining RTK integer lock to an average of 13 satellites throughout a 24-minute test. On top of this, light readings taken were found to be < 5 lux which is less than that generally recognised as a twilight/deep twilight night environment. Improvements are planned to reduce the lux rating even further.
